We followed the pedestrian river route taking a detour to Abbeystrewery graveyard, where over 9,000 people were buried during the famine.

Weather was wetter than forecasted so we opted for a shorter route that would include visiting a nearby geocache adjacent to the old Skibbereen railway station. We walked a circuit through the Avenue, past Glencurragh Wood and stopping by 2 second hand shops on the way.  As we approached we noticed a woman poking around the area of the geocache and guessed she was after the same thing. This week we our route was a post truth tour. We each had to say something along the way that could have been true or false.

Today we decided to walk around Skibbereen looking at what appear to be vacant buildings & sites – these photos are just a small selection of the current vacancies
